About Art Class Dakota

Art Class Dakota opened in 2023 in a converted warehouse on Broadway in downtown Fargo. We wanted a space with tall ceilings, north light and enough room for easels, wheels and kilns side by side.

Our instructors

Every instructor maintains an active studio practice — they exhibit, sell and create outside the classroom. That means you learn current technique, not just textbook theory.

What we believe

• Everyone can make art. Talent is just practice that has not started yet.
• Small classes mean real feedback, not polite applause.
• Materials should never be a barrier — we supply everything.
• The best class ends with something you are proud to take home.
